Azure Policy

Azure Policy is a governance service that enables you to create, assign, and manage rules and requirements that enforce organizational standards and assess compliance across your Azure resources at scale. This powerful tool allows you to define policies that automatically audit or prevent the creation of resources that don't meet your specifications, such as restricting which Azure regions can be used, requiring specific tags on resources, enforcing naming conventions, or mandating that all virtual machines use managed disks.
